Your Wake Forest University User Name and Password

A letter containing your user name and password was sent to you through postal mail. Your unique user name and password will provide access to many University computing resources. This information is specific to you and your student account at Wake Forest. Your password should not be shared with anyone.

If you did not receive your user name and password, please contact your Admissions Office.


Policy on Responsible and Ethical Use of Computing Resources

Use of Wake Forest technology resources, including your Wake Forest e-mail address, is governed by the Policy on Responsible and Ethical Use of Computing Resources. Specifically, the policy prohibits harassing e-mail, misrepresentation through e-mail, and e-mail spam.

By using your user name and password, you agree to the terms and conditions in the Policy on Responsible and Ethical Use of Computing Resources. As a Wake Forest student you must read and adhere to this policy.


About WIN
Wake Forest Information Network (WIN), is the campus intranet for Wake Forest University. As a student, you will use WIN for many activities while on campus, from registering your car and registering for courses to voting in Student Government elections or completing your timesheet for on-campus employment. WIN is the online place for taking care of business at Wake Forest.


Log Into WIN
Because WIN provides you with personal information including grades and finances, you will need to log in each time you use WIN. Your Wake Forest University user name and password are specific to you and your student account at Wake Forest. Your password should not be shared with anyone.

    To log into WIN for the first time, follow these steps:

    • Go to https://win.wfu.edu/.
    • Look for the login dialog box on the left side of the screen.
    • In the User Name field, enter the User Name provided to you by Wake Forest.
    • Enter your password in the Password field.
    • Click log in.

Change Your Password
Changing your password in WIN will change your password for other university computing resources such as logging into WIN and e-mail. It may take up to one hour to update your password. To log in to change your password, follow these steps:

      • Log into WIN with your User Name and Password
      • Click on the Personal tab.
      • Select Change Password and Clue
      • Follow the instructions for “Other WIN users”. Students cannot use WIN password clues.

Google Mail for Students

All students entering Wake Forest University will use Google Mail. To access your Google Mail account, go to http://google.wfu.edu and enter your Wake Forest University username and password.
